Floral Zip Front Gramercy Tee

It’s still sort of cold here in Pennsylvania (and it snowed last weekend!) but you can tell spring is finally on the horizon. The days are longer, the sun has been shining, and we’re now into April.

To welcome the new season, I realized my closet needed a mini-refresh. I have plenty of winter clothes and a drawer full of summer things, but I don’t have many in-between shirts for those chilly early-spring days. To save money and time, I always try pick versatile pieces that that can make the transition from office to running errands to date night. It’s a tall order, and it’s not always easy to find pieces so flexible.

I love the Floral Zip Front Gramercy Tee from Express because it’s dressy enough for work and also really cute and casual for the weekends. I already have this shirt in royal blue and the bright color and floaty material has held up well after numerous washes.

Although the Express website says this shirt runs small, I personally think it runs large. I’m usually a small/medium, and I’m wearing a size XS here. Admittedly it’s a little bit tight around the bust area, but the small was too loose at the top for me and too low-cut for work.

The zipper is gold, so I think this outfit pairs well with any gold jewelry (my earrings are from Francesca’s a few years ago. I’ve linked a similar pair below).

Oh, and did I mention these shirts are BOGO 50% off right now? It’s definitely worth getting two!

Outfit Details:

American Eagle Jeggings (so comfy!) / Francesca’s gold tone earrings (these are really similar to the ones I’m wearing, and they’re nickel free!) / Express Floral Zip Front Gramercy Tee

Wishing you a lovely Tuesday.
